He is also one of the initiators of the Thursday 4 You project and was running it for many years. Thanks to his efforts we can be here today and continue this great initiative.
Ladies and gentleman, we would like to invite you to meet Andrzej Fórmaniak, PhD Eng.
Andrzej will share his experience of 8-year engagement in the Thameslink Programme recently completed. He was responsible for safety aspect of this railway line modernisation. This important railway is connecting Bedford in the North and Brighton in the South of England. Challenges associated with his role in this project will be illustrated by some specific cases of problems solved. In addition, he will also outline his current role as system assurance lead of the transformation program of the Red & Orange Lines of Boston metro in Massachusetts, USA.
Andrzej is Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers as well as Fellow of the Safety and Reliability Society in UK with over 40 years’ professional experience in the railway industry.
